A COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP COURSE for new generation of make-up artists!

 

My 1.5 months “MAKE-UP 101” professional make-up training course is designed for those who are looking to start a career in make-up or those who wish to further develop existing professional make-up skills at par with International Beauty Standards. There is so much to discover in the world of make-up and no training course can claim to teach you everything, be it one week, one month or one year! Building a successful make-up career takes a lot of hard work and perseverance; it’s not all glamorous people and locations! If however, like me, you have found a passion for make-up, I can teach you the skills and knowledge that you will need to master, in order to embark on a career in this demanding industry. The professional training course will provide a detailed introduction to key areas of skin care and make-up. I focus on providing a firm foundation in international techniques and etiquette. There’s not even room for an extra false eyelash but I think I’ve fitted it all in!

WHAT WILL I LEARN IN 1.5 months?

From essential basics (like skin care, hygiene, product knowledge), to theory, to history of make-up, to getting technical with different make-up techniques, to putting art into make-up with scientific and advanced skills and the business side of things, you will learn it all. As I said, there’s not even room for an extra false eyelash but I think I’ve fitted it all in!

WHAT KIT DO I NEED?

Look into any make up artist’s kit and you’ll see each one is different to the next one. This is the beauty of what we do. We develop our own tastes and styles and preferred use of brands. I advise and expose you to excellent products in class but it is up to you to buy your own palettes, brushes, tools, pots and paints! This is done for a reason, each student must learn to develop a sense of working as a freelancer and learn where to shop, what to look for and how to test and try products by themselves. All part of learning this craft, essential for YOU to build relationships with suppliers and advise your clients too.

I promise to hold your hands along the way and help you with this exciting process by telling you where to go, brands and cosmetics that I love in India and on the international market and importantly who offers discounts to CG students etc. At the end of 1.5 months you will be confident in going out to work, with a keen sense of learning more!

PRODUCTS & TOOLS - A start up make-up kit (kit list options will be sent through on enrollment)

(All brushes and make-up bought by each student is not included in the tutelage fee. Each student kit is individual to that student, and is bought by the student through the course duration! This is a good working practice for being a professional and well rounded artist).
